In 1983, successfully completed an apprenticeship in telecommunications at Deutsche Post. Subsequently, spent five years in the service department at WTG (Westfälische Telefongesellschaft).
Moved to the family-run Munich-based electronics company ZETTLER GmbH – Berlin branch – where he held a management position for ten years as Deputy Head of Service in the auditing department, responsible for maintenance and service until August 1997, overseeing 12 employees.
In September 1997, he became self-employed, founding the sole proprietorship ICS SYSTEMS, which he ran until December 2020.
Since January 2021, he has been the Managing Partner of ICS SECURITY SYSTEMS GmbH (based in Berlin).
Since January 2025, he has been the Managing Director of EasyLifeKey Pro GmbH (based in Berlin).
